We offer free, confidential advice and support to all Brighton students.
We are independent from the University of Brighton. This means you can talk to us about your course and we can offer impartial advice. We will also work with you, and with the University, to help with any issues you're having.
We have lots of advice, information and useful links on our pages. If you can't find the answer you need, our Advice and Support service is available Monday - Friday all year round.
Accessing our service
To access the service, please complete our Case Form below, or via this link.
At the end of the form, you can let us know how you would prefer to receive advice:
- If you choose an online or telephone appointment, our team will review your situation and decide the best way to help. Due to high demand, we’re not always able to offer appointments to everyone. Our aim is to offer appointments where they’re most needed, so that everyone can access timely and effective support.
- If you choose to receive advice via email, one of our Advisors will be in touch within our target response time of three working days.
- If you choose to receive advice via an in-person appointment, our team will review your situation and decide the best way to help. Our Advisor works from the support office for one day each week. This means that it can take longer to arrange an in-person appointment than online or telephone appointments, so if your case is urgent you may want to choose a different appointment type or email advice. Due to high demand, we’re not always able to offer appointments to everyone, and our aim is to offer appointments where they’re most needed so that everyone can access timely and effective support.
If you have any problems with accessing or completing the form, or if you are having any problems in booking an appointment then please let us know via [email protected]
