We've sourced a whole range of great Freshers' content to give you all the information you need to know ahead of starting your journey at the University of Brighton.

We've asked a number of different current students to discuss their experiences at the start of University. We hope that their knowledge can help give you a better understanding of what beginning your time at the University of Brighton is like.

We'll also be posting updates about all the different activities the Students' Union gets up to over the welcome period. Stay tuned for information regarding societies, sports clubs, campaigns, job opportunities, events and more!

Coming to University is all about having new experiences. Check out our amazing roster of free events designed to help you meet new people, have fun, and get involved with your university community in Brighton and Eastbourne. Everyone can get involved in Hello Brighton, you just need to collect a wristband from one of our Welcome Hubs over Welcome Weekend to gain access to free events and activities plus local discounts.

Societies, Sports and Student Media

Student activities are at the heart of everything we do here at BSU. We're here to help and encourage you and your peers to start something incredible during your time with us.

Whether it's becoming part of Student Media as a writer for our newspaper, or putting on an amazing event as a Society committee member: students working together to achieve amazing things within the University and the wider community has long been a cornerstone of life here at the University of Brighton.
