Congrats Lara Perry, the Advancing Equality and Inclusion Award goes to you.

Lara empowers students and staff to make positive change within society and works hard to ensure under-represented groups are included in strategic decision making.

Smashing it, well done Sam McNeff - Course Rep of the Year Award goes to you!

Sam goes above and beyond in their duties as a Rep and is always supporting Nursing students to achieve and succeed in their studies with passion.

Sarah Lewis-Tullet, the Course Leader of the Year Award goes to you!

Sarah’s commitment throughout COVID-19 has been incredible, from keeping in contact via email and teams regularly to supporting her students in finishing their degrees.

The Improved Society of the Year Award goes to... Hiking and Trekking Society.

For implementing a WhatsApp group bringing members closer together and holding joint events with other societies such as First Aid training to learning navigation skills.

School of Education, congratulations - the School of the Year Award goes to you!

They always put students at the heart of everything they do. They worked quickly, providing a new alternative to students on placement enabling them to graduate this year!

Fab work British Sign Language Society, the Society Event of the Year Award is for you!

Your fabulous Christmas Carolling event last year raised over £172 for National Deaf Children's Society. The event helped teach carols in a fun and accessible way!

George Robinson, the Volunteer of the Year Award goes to you for all your amazing work!

George is always welcoming, kind and involves everyone around her through campaigning for inclusivity, raising awareness of events to being the Chair of Amnesty Society.

Nursing Society, the Society of the Year Award goes to you!

What a phenomenal year you’ve had, working hard to build a community for all student nurses! The togetherness you’ve created, even when apart on placement is inspiring.

Inspiration and Motivation Teaching or Support Award goes to Sarah Cork - a fantastic achievement!

Sarah delivers interactive seminars with high levels of attendance and offers exceptional, constructive, detailed feedback to her dedication for students.

Amber, congratulations! Student Staff of the Year (Membership) Award goes to you!

Amber is a member of the Communications team and consistently brings her positive attitude to everything she does, and always brings fresh, new and inspiring ideas.

And the New Society of the Year Award goes to... Wellbeing Society.

Thank you for raising awareness on mental health and the importance of self-care to creating a safe space for those struggling with their mental health during their time at University.

The Society Fundraiser of the Year Award goes to the Islamic Society.

They held a series of events during Charity Week (October 2019) including a grand auction dinner in collaboration with Brighton and Sussex Medical School's Islamic society, raising £11,000 for Islamic Relief.

Annabel Spain, the Student Staff of the Year (Commercial) Award goes to you!

Annabel is a member of our Basement Central team and is incredibly supportive, always has the brightest of smiles as well as being a great role model to others.

The prestigious LaTrivia Grant Award goes to our joint, but worthy winners, Uyi Ogieva & Euan Chew-Graham.

Uyi and Euan have shown dedication and interest in the Union, what we do and betterment of student life at University and BSU.

The Honorary Membership Award celebrates someone who has assisted us to achieve our Union goals.
