CONTRACEPTION AND SEXUAL HEALTH VOLUNTEERS

The CaSH Action Team rely on student volunteers to deliver our sexual health promotion services; and as well as volunteers CaSH is also supported by paid student staff.

Volunteers and student staff receive full training and induction into the role, as well as on-going support to carry out their work for CaSH.

Volunteering and working with CaSH gives you invaluable experience in the field of health promotion, as well as essential transferable skills such as communication and team work.

What one of our previous volunteers has said about being a member of the team:

“Volunteering as a Campaign Team Volunteer with the CaSH Action Team for 2 years has been an invaluable experience for me, not only giving me an insight into health promotion, but also allowing me to develop my interpersonal skills. I have been able to build my confidence in communicating with new people, and have developed my knowledge about, and love for, all things sexual health! Volunteering with CaSH has given me the opportunity to get involved in something worthwhile, and I feel like I really am part of the wonderful CaSH community that has given something important back to the University student community.”

We will be recruiting soon for the 2018/2019 Academic Year so watch this space!
