PEACH (Peer Education & Advice for Campus Health)

The PEACH (Peer Education & Advice for Campus Health) Team is a brand new part of Brighton Students’ Union for 2016-17 and aims to promote positive mental health and wellbeing within the University community and reduce the incidence and prevalence of drug and alcohol related harm among our student population. We will do this through outreach, campaign work and activism. PEACH is a group of fully trained student volunteers who are friendly and non-judgemental. The team are creative and fun in our approach to peer-led education.

Aims:

  • Promote positive mental health and wellbeing within the university community
  • Reduce the incidence and prevalence of drug and alcohol related harm among the student population
  • Signpost to relevant internal and external services related to mental health, drugs and alcohol and wellbeing
