Have you got a date for this year’s Valentine’s Day? Are you thinking of asking someone to be your Valentine?

Valentine’s Day celebrates love and friendship, but it is also a time for you to be vary of your safety and what measures you can take to ensure you are the safest you can be. Many get carried away with the commercialisation of the event and the pressure to find a date. This can for many be the alpha omega of the day and evening not thinking about the prospect of them potentially meeting a complete stranger.

This year Brighton Students’ Union will be focusing on how you can keep yourself safe when preparing to go on a date for Valentines on 14th February.

We have created some quick and easy steps for you to take before, during and after your date that can help you be better prepared for Valentine’s Day.

We will be each campus over the next two weeks to encourage you to be safe on your date, handing out information and freebies, so watch out for us coming to your campus. For dates please see below:
