By buying a membership for our society you receive insurance for all our events and help us to organise activities that are inclusive to everyone.
We at the Brighton University Drama Society provide an opportunity for students to become involved in the production and performance of the dramatic arts. With weekly sessions, every tuesday and thursday from 6pm till 9pm at the Watson Performance Studio, we aim to get everyone involved in acting, performing, and production.
Every year, we put on two major productions, including one in the Brighton Fringe festival, as well as a number of variety shows, called TasteBUDS, that occur throughout the year.
Members are encouraged also come along for the social side between productions.
There are also many opportunities for members to take part in the technical and backstage side of the productions, such as making props, set design, costume fittings, as well as sound and lighting design in professional as well as unconventional theatre spaces.
If you have any further questions about the soceity, feel free to drop us an email, or message our facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/BtonUniDrama/
