The University Ecology Society is for any students passionate about wildlife, the natural world, and conservation, environmental policy or those who just enjoy a good social. We are open to anyone of any course and everyone is welcome.

We aim to work closely with conservation groups both locally and nationally and hope to have guest speakers in too! We will be organising hands-on conservation experience as well as trips to Museums other places of interest. We also hope to get the chance to do some real ecological research.

This year we want to offer the most inclusive and enjoyable social experience and even do some international trips abroad after exams, this will include everything from Bar Crawls through to charity funding quizzes.

We will also be working with other societies on and off campus and be covering the broadness which Ecology encompasses from Conservation Science through to panel debates around Political Ecology and Policy.

We will do at least 1 social a month and 1 bit of hands-on conservation with local groups and 1 big trip each semester.

Any questions or any suggestions we would love to hear back and look forward to meeting you in September.
