Activities

Welcome to the Ecological Society! A place for all students to share their interest in nature and ecology regardless of their course. 

We will aim to give students first hand experience with nature by working with local charities, visiting places of natural beauty and sites of scientific interest, helping new students to explore Sussex and make new friends with likeminded people. Our society plans to host some fun outdoor activities this year, including visiting our local nature reserves for walks, and exploring rock pools at our local beaches. Guest speakers will also be invited to talk about their work within the field of ecology and conservation and each month we will arrange one social activity to help us get to know eachother a bit more, and one environmental activity where we will help to carry out some research of our own or learn something new.
