ELECTIONS

WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, WHY, HOW?

Every year we host the Student Leadership Elections so that the student body at UoB can decide democratically who they want to lead the Students’ Union. This happens on a wider scale and on a smaller scale – focusing purely on societies.

If you’re a member of a society you can run in the elections to become an official member of the committee.

If you have a real urge to lead and take control of planning in the society – run to become President.

If you want to gain experience in social media and the web – run for Web Officer.

If you have found a family within your society and care so much about your community – become the Welfare Officer.

There are so many possibilities and they’re a great way to get involved and learn some new skills.

READY TO GET INVOLVED?

In order to nominate yourself or a friend to be a Committee Leader for your society you MUST be signed up as a member using the SU website!

Don’t know how to sign up to a society using the SU website? Check out this handy video below!
