Hi! Thank you for your interest in the University of Brighton Wellbeing Society!

University can be a stressful time, so our goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment to ensure everyone’s general wellbeing is the best it can be. We aim to provide an informal and inclusive space for students to make friends and create a happy and healthy student community, as well as provide advice and support to students and direct you to people that can help!

Each week, we run informal meetups where we can hang out and wind down after uni, so don't be afraid to drop by and join us! You can have a chat about whatever's on your mind, both with other students and members of the committee. We hope to run a range of events throughout the year, including socials, informal workshops, collaborations with other societies and more. 

Our workshops will focus on themes such as:

  • physical health
  • interview skills
  • friendships & relationships
  • mindfulness
  • leadership
  • housing
  • budgeting
  • women's support

Starting this society was so important to us because we wanted to provide a friendly and approachable support system for students across the university; so if you have any ideas for us, let us know! We promise to provide a safe and social space for absolutely everyone :)

You can get your membership at any point throughout the year, so please do come along to an event and join us - we'd be more than happy to have you!
