What is a campaign?

A campaign is an organised course of action to achieve a goal or change - if there is something you'd like to see happen, here at Brighton or in society, we can help you.

Campaigns are run by lots of different students. Some the full-time officers focus on, others are run by students just like you.

What can the BSU Campaigns Hub offer you?

  • Digital Campaign Toolkit with a range of resources or tools to support your campaign

  • In-person or online 1-to-1 campaign training workshops (contact bsucampaigns@brighton.ac.uk for more information)

  • Communication via meetings and email to provide advice and guidance throughout the course of your campaign

  • Funding

  • Venues

  • Networking opportunities

  • Personal development - from opportunities for public speaking, planning, and organising, and marketing tools

  • Employability and advocacy skills

Furthermore, we can provide a range of materials to aid your campaign including:

  • Easels

  • Small Whiteboards

  • Large Whiteboard

  • Whiteboard Markers

  • Whiteboard Eraser

  • Small Pinboard

  • Paints (Black, White, Blue, Red, Green and Yellow, Orange, Peach, Turquoise, Brown, Pink and Purple)

  • Banner Material

  • Guillotine

  • Blue Tac

For more information on running a campaign, take a look at our Campaign Toolkit. This is a detailed tool for you to go through in your own time.

If you care about an issue and want to make a change, get in touch!

Campaign Training

If you would like 1-2-1 training,  please do contact our Campaigns Coordinator to go through the below slides. We can personalise this training, as well as offer direction, set goals, and form timelines for your campaign.
