About Us

A big hello from your SU - We're here to make student life better

Brighton Students' Union is a supportive, representative, and fully independent charity run by students, for students. We're here for you every step of your journey as a student here at the University of Brighton.

Coming to University is always a unique and exciting experience for any student. We're dedicated to making sure that every one of our 21,000 students feels both supported and empowered. We do this by working alongside the University and ensuring that students are at the forefront of every major decision they take.

We're making student life better - check out our Strategic Plan for how we're committed to doing just that.

We are here to make your student life better. Whether that’s getting involved with our societies and sports, representing your student voice, providing you with academic advice and support or helping you gain valuable employability skills by working and volunteering with us.

We make sure that your University experience is the best it can be by providing you with plenty of opportunities to get involved and graduate with more than just a degree.

No matter where you're studying, we're always nearby for a friendly chat or advice. You can find us at our receptions in Eastbourne, Grand Parade, Moulsecoomb and Falmer.

You can view more information about everything we do in our Welcome Handbook! If you don't have it to hand, here's a digital version.
