About Us

We are the Ecological Society, a group of students who are passionate about nature and aim to create an inclusive space to learn more about the environment and how to care for it.

Welcome to the Ecological Society! An inclusive space for all students, of all levels of experience, to share their interest in nature and ecology.

Our committee consists of :

  • Our citizen science and "unloveable" creature enthusiast, Lauren
  • The insect chaser and white stork girl herself, Seniz
  • She loves them all, beavers to pangolins, Robson

We aim to give students first-hand experience with nature by running workshops, working with local charities and exploring the natural beauty of Brighton and the surrounding areas. In semester two, we will be hosting events with Sussex Wildlife Trust, bioblitz's, and bee workshops, and we finish off the term with our annual trip to Knepp Estate!

More details on our events can be found on our Instagram @brightonecosoc - message us here to be added to our whatsapp chat!

We hope you like what you see, and we will see you soon!
