I am thrilled to present my manifesto as a candidate for the position of VP Finance for the University of Brighton Law Society. With a keen eye for detail, a passion for organization, and a dedication to supporting our society's goals, I am committed to leveraging my skills to ensure the financial well-being and success of our events.
Having previously organised fundraising events for charity and different organisations in Costa Rica, helping organise and find funding for events comes naturally to me. I am very keen on making sure the Law Society constantly has events well organised and funded for the success of our student body. I am committed to helping our society organise succesful and memorable events.
As VP Finance, I will prioritize transparency, accuracy, and accountability in all financial matters. I will maintain detailed records of income and expenses, regularly report on the financial status of our society, and seek input from members on budget priorities. Additionally, I will collaborate with the team to develop responsible budgeting strategies that align with our society's goals and priorities.
