Hi Guys,
As VP Social I would hold events aimed at encouraging students to get involved with pharmacy society, to meet other students of the same course. Pharmacy is a connected world and it’s important to provide a space where students can cultivate friendships both personally and professionally through events like;
• Guest Speakers
• Staff VS Student Quiz
University can be a daunting experience for some, and I feel that all years would benefit from a support network for students. A platform where they can ask questions, and nearer to exam time, mindfulness sessions to help deal with exam stress.
I understand that there is a diverse student community at Brighton, that it why it is important we take all students views/values into account:
• Games Night
• Pub Crawl
• Karaoke Nights
• Club nights
My previous experience in running a First Aid society, provides me with a broad network of people, which has allowed me to organise society collaboration events. For example, First Aid Society collaboration with British Sign language Society and Paramedic Society.
As an memebr of the Bio Soc commettie, I have enjoyed helping organise and run events, such as Bisoc Ball
In the past I've been active member of Pharmacy Society and have enjoyed attending pharmacy society events.
