The Brighton Students' Union Awards 2024
The BSU Union Awards recognise outstanding contributions and achievements made by both staff and students throughout the year. These awards celebrate excellence in various areas such, teaching, support, innovation and volunteerism.
UNIVERSITY STAFF AWARDS
Inspirational and Motivational Teaching Award

New Society of the Year

Society Event of the Year

Volunteer of the Year

Criteria: Recognises a student who has made significant contributions to the community through volunteering, demonstrating dedication, and making a positive impact.

Course Rep of the Year

Criteria: Recognises a student representative from each school who has effectively represented the interests of their peers, communicated feedback to faculty, and contributed to positive changes within their academic program.

Super Rep of the Year

Criteria: Acknowledges a student representative who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, initiative, and dedication in their role, going above and beyond to support their peers and enhance the student experience.

Example: A super rep who not only represents their own course but also takes on additional responsibilities, mentors other reps, and initiates campus-wide initiatives to address common issues.
Student Staff Member of the Year

Criteria: Celebrates a student who has made outstanding contributions to the university or students' union in a staff capacity, demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to supporting their peers.
