Love SUs: Brighton Students' Union

The NUS #LoveSUs campaign launched this week and we’re getting involved! This year the focus is how SU’s impact the lives of individual students. We want to know what YOU love about your SU. Comment below how Brighton Students' Union has impacted your student life.

We’ve had a great first term, meeting you and seeing you all again – here are some of our successes since September!

We’d also like to give a special mention to the following societies that have done an amazing job this term:

B-Dance Society raised £335 through Springboard to contribute to the cost of costumes for their upcoming competition (good luck)!

The Drama Society raised £550 through Springboard for their winter production of the ‘Government Inspector’ at the Sallis Benney Theatre.

The Debate Society have won two awards. The ‘First Award’ at the at the Model UN competition in Reading and ‘Best Delegate’ award at the Human Rights Council.

Our winners of Society of the Month in October were the Midwifery Society (EB). They hosted a magnificent conference for students.

And last but not least, our winners of Society of the Month in November, the Islamic Society who raised a phenomenal £4590.46 for Islamic Relief.

We’re incredibly proud of our staff and students for their hard work this term and excited to see what happens in the future!
