Join us for the official Brighton Freshers' Festival at Shakedown! With such a fantastic line-up of talent including Dizzee Rascal, Katy B and Chase & Status, Shakedown is the perfect end to our incredible two week programme of Freshtival activities. 

Tickets are £35 from SU receptions, or you can buy them online from www.brightonfreshtival.com - this will include a £3.50 booking fee.

Eastbourne and Hastings: We also have buses running to and from Hastings and Eastbourne - you can book your seat for £10 at our SU offices. Pick up in Hastings will be at the waiting bay at Hastings train station at 10.45am, and 11.15am in Eastbourne on Carlisle Road, outside Bishopsbourne. Buses will return from Shakedown at 11pm.

Shakedown takes place at Stanmer Park, Brighton. A map and travel information is available here. It runs from 12pm - 11pm on Saturday 6th October. Your ticket will give you access to all areas of the Festival, as well as express lane entry.

Brighton: Extra number 25 bus service will run between Old Steine and the Universities via Stanmer Park from 11am on Saturday 6 October for the Shakedown Festival. A 5 minute frequency of service from Old Steine to Falmer will apply. There will also be a significant number of extra buses to bring people back into Brighton city centre when the event closes. From 9.30pm, all normal service 23 and 25 buses will operate direct into Sussex University campus via Knights Gate and the Southern Ring Road and not serve Stanmer Park; all the additional buses will be on hand in Stanmer Park to return festival-goers to the city centre.
