Osasu 

“This month of July I started my role as the president of the Brighton Students’ Union, I also met with key individuals from the university and had a series of summer training and planning with the officers for our campaigns for the next academic year as well as various ways we can make students’ lives better. I also attended the BSMS graduation as well as the Brighton graduations at the end of the month. This year promises to be a great year!”

“Throughout July, I engaged with numerous department leaders, acquiring essential insights on fostering collaboration between their teams and the Brighton Student's Union to benefit students. I also took part in the University of Brighton Education and Student Experience Conference, where we shared ideas to improve the student experience and highlighted the accomplishments of our university staff. Furthermore, I contributed to a panel focusing on special considerations and academic appeals.”

"I had the pleasure of meeting several department heads at the university, highlighting how the SU and university collaborate. I also attended the University of Brighton Education and Student Experience Conference, showcasing the successes of our staff and introducing strategies to enhance the student experience. Additionally, I participated in the summer graduations and celebrated the great achievements and successes of our outstanding students. It was a wonderful time!”

 

Kenny 

“This month has been busy and rewarding. I celebrated with students at their summer graduation ceremonies, sharing in their joy and accomplishments. I also had productive meetings with officers to strengthen our collaborative efforts. We’ve started planning campaigns for the upcoming semester, laying the groundwork for future projects. Plus, I’ve been keeping up with summer training sessions for the officers, making sure everyone is ready and equipped for what’s next.”
