CONGRATULATIONS to ACS Hastings Society for winning Society of the Month for February. Here's what they had to say about the event they ran that bagged them the award.

#1 What was the objective of your event?

The objective of our Event was to ensure that everybody enjoyed Valentine's Day regardless of whether they were single or not. Also to send 5 pairs on a date.

Our event took place on Wednesday, 15 February 2017

#3 Where did your event take place?

Our event took place in the Hastings Campus, Havelock 416 lecture hall

#4 How many people came?

We had around 75 people that attended.

#5 How did the attendees participate?

8 of the attendees sat on the panel as single ladies & 5 of them as single men. The rest were the audience and they interacted with the host.

#6 What did you learn?

We learnt that Women don't like to be referred to as girls.

#7 How does your event benefit students?

Our event benefited people as we brought together, first years, second years and third years to have an eventful evening & enjoy valentines day together. Also we got 4 couples together, with a date inclusive.
