To highlight the amount of harassment students experience on campus and whilst at university. Using the knowledge of experts to help develop strategies to make sure students feel safer on campus.

HOW DID THE ATTENDEES PARTICIPATE? -
We had some guest speakers who spoke about their knowledge on the topic. Some attendees actively joined in the conversation or used the chat function on zoom to interact with what was being said. There was a padlet available for attendees to anonymously write any thoughts, feelings, experiences or ideas on the subject.
WHAT DID YOU LEARN? -
We learnt about how to get guest speakers for an event and how to successfully advertise an event.
HOW DID THE EVENT BENEFIT STUDENTS? -
The event allowed for a safe space for students to vent about potentially distressing events. One student said they found the event informative and they left feeling more positive and optimistic than they were before the event.
