Expect Respect Training

Expect Respect Training

Tuesday 26 March 2019, 12:30pm - 1:30pm

Location: Meeting Room, Bishopsbourne, Eastbourne

This training will help you with identifying behaviours that contribute to harassment and how to intervene in a situation safely and with the most impact. We look at what contributes to sexual harassment and bullying, why scertian views are perpetuated in society, and how to approach someone when they say/do something which contributes to these issues.

This session is only an hour and will bring up the following themes: sexual harassment, rape, sexual violence, racism, sexism, homophobia, and other harassment. If you are sensitive to these issues, we do have a Mental Health First Aider in attendance and a safe space available.

If you'd like any more information, please contact Amy (VP Welfare) on a.jaiteh@brighton.ac.uk
