I would like to be VP Social as I think it is a very fun and exiting oppertunity! I want to be involved in the law society and help out as much I am capable. I think I'd be a good fit for the role as since coming to Brighton I have reall ly been able to gain more social skills and have been very involved across many societies. At first when I joined the law society, I wasn't really talking to anyone and I was struggling to have the confidence to put myself out there. I think I have that now, and I'd love to be in a position to help other people do the same, and creat social oppertunities for law students to socialise and create links with their peers. One idea I have for a social event is a book trade/sale, where older students can sell books to younger students who need them, for a more accessible price, which would make it easier for them to get the books they need for their subjects, additionally the older students can get rid of their books that they no longer need in an easier way than through something online like on ebay.
