How would you defend academic quality?
- increasing the amount of anonymous survey and feedback forms sent to students giving them the opportunity to make their thoughts known without the pressure of further questioning
- holding focus groups to find out a range of opinions that students hold and what their concerns are and use my position to act on them.
How would you work with Course Representatives to improve academic experience at course level?
- taking information found through surveys and focus groups and relaying this through regular meetings with the University and finding an outcome that works for the students based on what they want
What skills or expertise do you have that would make you suitable for the role?
- i have worked for Brighton Students Union at The Venue since it opened in September 2022 and have been a supervisor since January 2023 so I already have some knowledge on how the BSU works
- through my three years on my course of Law with Criminology I have learned how to communicate more effectively and professionally and how to get my point across succinctly
