How would you boost employability for Brighton students?

I will boost employability by hosting engaging meet-ups with employers and creating opportunities for students to network with future employers, business owners and potential business partners. In addition, I would like to increase the type of businesses and industries that visit and talk to the university, so that everyone has the opportunity to improve their future prospects.

How would you improve the experience in societies and student media?

One of the ways I plan to improve the experience of society committee members is by ensuring they have everything they need to host their own activities and events. It should be fun and exciting to be part of a committee and i want to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to experience this no matter what committee they are apart of. In addition, I want to get guest speakers or activities that societies can take part in to enhance their experience.

What skills or expertise do you have that would make you suitable for the role?

My University degree is in International Event Management and Marketing. Using this I should be able to offer good support to students and societies when planning and organising events and activities. University should be a new and exciting experience and I want to bring more activities and unique opportunities to the University of Brighton. One event me and my team done for my degree was a silent disco. It was very successful and unique compare to a usual club night. This is something I want to bring forward and encourage. New and unique experiences.
