Futsal is FIFA's official small sided form of football. Played indoors the emphasis is on skill and footwork. Contact is minimal and it has been the starting block for some of the world's finest players. The university has men's and women's teams playing on the Eastbourne campus. The teams play in tournament based leagues throughout the year as part of BUCS. There is also a Parklife league at Falmer.

STUDENT CLUB | DETAILS

Locations: University Sports Centre, Eastbourne

Type: Competitive match play and training

Details: Two Eastbourne based University of Brighton men's teams enter the BUCS leagues. Weekly trainingand home fixtures at Eastbourne.

STUDENT CLUB | MEMBER CATEGORY

Costs: £30 a year. £2.50 match fee per match played.

Bronze BUCS members access personal injury insurance, centrally organised BUCS fixture costs and admin support and a weekly training session.

Buy your Sports Federation Membership here once you know you are taking part in club activities.

ADDITIONAL PARKLIFE SESSIONS

Sport: Football and Futsal

Location: Falmer, Brighton and Hillbrow, Eastbourne

Type: Leagues and Turn Up & Play

Details: Compete in full or small-sided social competitions with your team on each campus, or enjoy a kick-about with other players on our 3G surfaces. There is also a futsal league on Monday nights at Falmer.
