WELCOME TO ULTIMATE FRISBEE

For those of you university students that actually like to read, here is an introduction to the sport. Ultimate Frisbee is a team sport in which players seek to score points by passing a Frisbee to a teammate over the opposing team's goal line. (like American Football, but without the tackling and body armour). It is suitable for anyone - you can take it as seriously as you'd like or just come along for the socials!

Come along to one of our training sessions and see for yourself; find out what the sport is actually like. Don’t dismiss us like a tissue you see on the side of the road. It may be a sport for non-human offspring but it’s a lot of fun!

We don't have trials so you can come along at any time in the year. But let's start at the very beginning a very good place to start, when you read you be in with ABC, when you want fun you begin with Frisbee. Oh no that was cheesy. Did you sing it? If you didn't go back and sing it and it will make so much more sense.

By joining the club, you will have the opportunity to play against other universities ultimate teams. For the last three years we have made it to nationals beating all other teams in the league. No pressure.

If you don't care much for the running aspect of Frisbee don't worry we also hold socialz (Ooo socials with a z). These can range from nights out to a not so quiet house party with an incredible party theme!

So come along to a practice, introduce yourself and we'll teach you how to play.  Welcome to the Panthers!

	STUDENT CLUB | DETAILS Locations: University Sports Centre, Falmer Type: Competitive match play and training Details: We play both men's and women's BUCS fixtures as well as other tournaments throughout the year. See the bottom of this page for club contacts and social media accounts relating to this club.
	STUDENT CLUB | MEMBER CATEGORY Costs: £30 a year. £2.50 match fee per match played. Bronze BUCS members access personal injury insurance, centrally organised BUCS fixture costs and admin support and a weekly training session. Buy your Sports Federation Membership here once you know you are taking part in club activities.
	ADDITIONAL PARKLIFE SESSIONS Sport: Ultimate Frisbee Location: Falmer, Brighton Type: Turn Up and Play Details: Get to know the sport by giving it a go and these fun sessions run by the club. Click here to open our Sports Clubs first session guide. This will detail how to get involved in sports clubs at the University of Brighton. Some first sessions are trials and some are simply an open first session for you to give something a go. You can take part in as many clubs as you like and can fit in. You only need to buy one membership which should be for the club that  requires the highest category membership. So if you do both a Bronze BUCS and Bronze Off-Site club then you just need a Bronze BUCS card. You only need to buy a membership if you are taking part in a BUCS fixture or you plan to continue to attend after the 31st October (whichever comes first).
